Rejuvelux was founded by Emily, a registered nurse with a background in neurosurgery and neurology, emergency care and med-surgical nursing. Since the covid 19 pandemic, Emily has deepened her knowledge on the root causes of metabolic disease, autoimmune and other neurodegenerative disorders. She has undergone advanced education and training in the clinical applications of injectable nutrients at one of Australasia’s top institutions in medical nutrition and integrative medicine. She is currently working as a clinical nurse specialist at Health NZ, Te Toka Tumai.
Driven by her passion for holistic health and her dedication to deepening her understanding of functional and integrative medicine, she actively pursues advanced knowledge and scholarship in these fields. This inspired her to launch a mobile infusion service dedicated to promoting internal healing through the use of injectable nutrients.
IV nutrient therapy is a proactive and preventative approach to correcting nutrient and mineral deficiencies. This modality supports the body’s immune system to function at optimal level. Our commitment to exceptional care is reinforced by the guidance of Dr. Kamal and Dr. Avani Karl, our expert functional medical practitioners. Their clinical oversight ensures that every client receives safe, high-quality, and personalised care.
Yes. At Rejuvelux, you will always be seen by a nurse specialist before treatment is administered. During this time, you will have the opportunity to discuss treatment goals, recent lab work, expectations, and the frequency of treatment specific to you.
For more complex medical conditions, you may be required to consult directly with our medical doctor via telehealth before starting treatment.
Vitamin nutrient therapy is a safe and effective method for replenishing fluids and nutrients in the body. All of our products are sourced from approved medical suppliers and highly regulated pharmaceutical companies. Our formulas and protocols are also overseen by our functional medical doctor to ensure we adhere to the highest safety and medical standards.
Most people can benefit from IV nutrient therapy. However, certain medical conditions, such as heart, liver, or kidney problems, may disqualify you from receiving IV therapy. We do not treat anyone under the age of 18 years old. Patients undergoing chemotherapy are strongly advised to consult with their oncologist before considering IV nutrient therapy. Your medical history and vital signs will be reviewed prior to beginning any treatment at Rejuvelux.
Our team is highly skilled in the art of IV insertion; however, access to an IV line is never guaranteed. Per our policy, we will attempt a maximum of two sticks. If both attempts are unsuccessful, we can attempt a third time with permission from the client. If we cannot obtain IV access after three attempts, you will have the choice to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Some strategies that may help dilate your veins before your appointment include drinking plenty of water, taking a warm shower or bath, engaging in light cardio to increase blood flow, and wearing warm clothing.
Your appointment begins with a comprehensive medical assessment and history obtained by the nurse specialist. Your vital signs will be taken, and your medical history will be reviewed by our medical doctor. We will then determine whether you are a suitable candidate for IV therapy. If you are, an infusion will be selected based on your presenting concerns and underlying health condition. Informed consent will be obtained before treatment begins.
All of our IV infusion specialists are Registered Nurses (RNs) licensed to administer IV treatments. All new clients are reviewed by our medical doctor before treatment. Our RNs receive extensive training and have significant experience in administering IV therapy before working with clients. We take a holistic approach and will guide you to speak with your GP or treating specialist for a referral, if needed.
The IV infusion is a vital part of modern medical care, ensuring proper hydration and nutrition for clients in need. It may also provide medications or other compounds that cannot enter the body any other way. The flow rate of an IV depends on various factors, such as the volume of fluids being administered, the client’s prior experience with IV drips, and their current medical condition. As such, the infusion can take anywhere from 45 minutes to several hours to complete. The duration of the infusion does not necessarily correlate with pain or discomfort; it is more dependent on individual circumstances.
While some individuals may feel slight sensations during insertion or throughout treatment due to variations in vein size and pressure differences between veins and arteries, most people find these feelings to be minimal.
We understand that everyone has different needs. After consulting with you, our nurse will make a recommendation on the frequency of IV treatments based on both your health history and individual requirements. Additionally, our nurse will customise any treatment add-ons to help you achieve your specific health goals. We are happy to collaborate with your referring doctor regarding what they feel is best for you. For preventative health and wellness, most clients begin with one or two infusions per month to help balance vitamin and hydration levels.

IV administration allows for direct delivery of vitamins into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system. This can result in higher absorption rates compared to oral ingestion, which may be affected by factors such as gastrointestinal health, metabolism, and the presence of other substances.

IV vitamin therapy allows for higher concentrations of nutrients to be administered compared to what can be achieved orally. This can be beneficial for individuals with specific deficiencies or those who require higher doses for therapeutic purposes.

IV administration provides immediate availability of nutrients in the bloodstream, allowing for faster effects. This can be advantageous in situations where quick replenishment or support is needed, such as in cases of dehydration or acute nutrient deficiencies.

IV vitamin therapy is typically administered under the supervision of healthcare professionals, ensuring appropriate dosage, monitoring for any adverse reactions, and tailoring the treatment to the individual’s needs. This level of oversight provides added safety and precision compared to self-administration of oral supplements.
